Michael Zasadny
In my adult life, I have had several occupations.
I did not enjoy any enough to pursue them for the rest of my life. In October of 1994, I began a love
affair that I am certain will last for the rest of my life. Nothing has ever imbedded itself into my
entire existence like the creation of sculpture has. My eyes see in a whole new way. Subtle glances
turn everyday objects into an assemblage. Before falling to sleep, I lie in bed for hours, watching the shapes
and colors filtering through what is left of my brain.
Having no formal artistic training gives me freedon in my art, the kind
of freedom I have desired in my life. No walls, nothing's right or wrong, everything is pure like when
we were first born.
