R ose Myria is an Evanston, Illinois, artist/poet. She graduated in Commercial Art with a B.A. from the University of Illinois. Her portfolio includes figure sketches, pastel portraits, and a series of mandalas. A s a massage therapist for twenty years, she has had cartoons published in professional magazines that enhance the image of her profession. She has written articles about massage and given workshops.

er poetry, written under the pseudonym of Rosie O'Grady, includes themes of nature, feminism, and relationships. A frequent presenter at poetry readings, she won a slam at the Green Mill in Chicago in June, 1996.
