Sandy McCutcheon
Sandy McCutcheon is the voice behind "Australia Talks Back," Australia's
only national talkback program. It is heard in Australia through 250
Radio National stations and overseas on Radio Australia.
The other
side of Sandy is his work as a writer. The author of 22 plays, a
host of short stories and performance poetry, his first venture into popular
fiction was the thriller In Wolf's Clothing - short listed for the Harper
Collins National Fiction Prize, it was published on January 1, 1997. Harper
Collins reported the first edition sold out in 15 days. The film rights
have been optioned and translations of the book are being negotiated. A
second novel in what is intended to be a trilogy is nearing completion and
should be published before the end of the year.
Sandy is an addicted traveler and uses his wide ranging travels as
background for his books and plays. His aim in life is to grow old disgracefully!
