Time
Troubadour, tell a tale of time
Gone swiftly by, causing
After shocks of swiftness, leaving
Yesteryear far behind, now
Waiting for tomorrow to
Beckon the morning sun, to rise
Rise high over the mountains, where
Earth and sky blend into one, turning
A rosy blush found upon a young maiden
Whose eyes are lowered when spoken to
Like the sun when thunder roars it's appearing
Bringing storms that time help ease
Electric bolts plummeting from the sky
Reaching earth, changing earth, striking earth
Leaving behind ravages; wrinkled surfaces,
Broken veins, sagging foundations, fading strength
Troubadour, sing your song...of the ravages of TIME
